Does it make laminated stickers?
With the four-layer thermal dye-sublimation technology, the photo & sticker paper will be automatically laminated during printing and then precisely cut. Stickers produced by PixCut S1 are durable, waterproof, fade-resistant, and scratch-resistant, ensuring they remain vibrant and intact over time.
What is the ink cartridge?
The PixCut S1 uses a single thermal dye-sublimation ink cartridge that includes three colors plus a protective lamination layer. When it's empty, replace it as a whole unit rather than individual colors. Each cartridge supports up to 36 prints.
What devices are compatible with the PixCut S1?
The Liene PixCut S1 currently works with iOS and Android phones and tablets. However, we have plans for further development to enable compatibility with PCs and laptops, and we've already included a USB-C connecting port on the device for this purpose.
How long would the blade last, and where can I get replacement blades?
The lifespan of the blade will depend on the complexity and frequency of cutting, and our blade should be good for around 800 sticker paper cutting. PixCut S1 is built for durability, so it should last through many projects before needing a replacement.
Can I upload my custom design file? What formats can I use?
Yes, you can upload PNG or JPG files with a transparent background for direct cutting. For non-transparent backgrounds, use the AI Matting tool to remove it before cutting. You can make the area outside the cut line transparent, export it as a PNG, and upload it to our app for precise cutting along the desired line. Please note that our app currently only supports PNG and JPG formats. If you prefer not to use the image extraction feature, simply upload a PNG with a transparent background for accurate cutting.
What types of paper does the PixCut S1 support?
The PixCut S1 is designed to work primarily with 4x6 and 4x7-inch PET photo and sticker paper that is specifically optimized for high-quality printing and precise cutting using photo-grade thermal dye-sublimation technology. As such, the compatible photo and sticker paper will be limited to Liene brand products to ensure the best performance and results. Please note that the sticker paper with transparent and metallic textures will be available around 6 months later.

This Liene printer is amazing! After opening the box, it is amazing how easy it is to setup and get started in just minutes. The profile size of this printer is a nice value add as well, not a big bulky printer. Hope to use this for many years down the road
I love the print quality, the machine's compact size, and the fact that it can be used as both a photo printer and a sticker printer. I did not have a chance to explore whether or not I could cut the photo paper, but the few items I did cut required me to use the sticker paper. It would be nice to be able to cut either. That would also require adjusting the pressure to cut all the way through the photo paper. It was an easy set-up, and the print drive is easy to use. I wish that the app was not limited to the phone. I prefer to use my tablet for a larger interfacing. I have only just begun exploring the equipment. I also noticed the canvas is only in mm, and I do not know if I can switch it to inches. It is not a deal breaker but an extra step for me to convert if I want to see the size in the Imperial system for my clients who require a specific size. I have only tried the sticker paper that was packaged with the machine. I don't know if this is the more aggressive sticky glue, but I already noticed it peels up from the curved surface that I put it on. This may have to do more with the substrate that doesn't stretch than the adhesive itself. This may diminish the value of the machine due to the limited use of stickers. Still to be seen.
I am so thrilled with this machine. First, it shipped quickly! Second, set-up and use is easy! I can’t stop myself from making more and more stickers. Looking forward to the day when the company has other paper options like washi, but I’m very happy at present! Highly recommend!
I love this product! Super simple to use. Just wish the adhesive was better, but using a little bit of glue from a glue stick, then they stick just fine! I plan on trying the more adhesive stickers next. I also wish the pre-made stickers were more customizable. I thought the colors could be changed on them. I have enjoyed the stickers I have made and being able to create my own ideas with the templates. Great product!
